Chris Anadale - Board Chairman
Dr. Anadale is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Mount St. Mary's University and Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. He is also Director of the Mount's M.A. in Philosophical Studies program. He and his wife live in historic downtown Emmitsburg and homeschool their four children. He is active in local Boy Scouts and Knights of Columbus organizations, and is proud to support the mission and ministry of Emmaus Farm.
Charles E. Brown
Dr. Brown is the Senior Minister of the First Christian Church of Garrison in Lewis County. He was ordained into Christian Ministry in 1985 and holds a Doctor of Ministry from Southern Christian University. He is a Board member and Welfare Secretary of the Lewis County Salvation Army Unit, a Pastor with the Bikers for Christ, and a USAF Veteran. Charlie and his wife, Edith, have 4 sons and 11 grandchildren.
Carol is a retired Lewis County school teacher and an active parishioner at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Vanceburg. Carol has been an active Catholic presence in Lewis County, where she raised her 5 children. Her late husband, Charley Campbell, was commissioned to create several art pieces in 2003 for the Farm, including stained glass windows in the chapel.
Jeff is a high school teacher in Florida, and has previously served as a hospital chaplain at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, as well as other congregational and campus ministry positions in Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky. He holds a BA in Philosophy from Conception Seminary College and an MA in Pastoral Theology from Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology.
Colleen Ryan Mayrand
Colleen serves as the Community Service Director at Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia. She holds a Masters of Pastoral Ministry from the University of Dayton. Colleen has a lasting connection to life in Lewis County after volunteering at the Glenmary Farm for 18 months from 2010 to 2011. Colleen is passionate about lay ministry and social justice.
Dr. Naberhaus is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Mount St. Mary’s University in Maryland. He grew up in Cincinnati where he attended St. Xavier High School. After college he served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ghana, returning to the U.S. for graduate study. He and his wife, Christine, live with their two sons on the side of a mountain in Washington County, Maryland.
Tony is a composition instructor at Lewis County Central Elementary School. He is a lifelong member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and resides in Vanceburg with his wife, Theresa, and their three children, Kelsey, AJ, and Phoenix. Tony holds an MA as a reading/writing specialist and currently serves on several boards in Lewis County.
