Chris Anadale - Board Chairman
Dr. Anadale is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Mount St. Mary's University and Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. He is also Director of the Mount's M.A. in Philosophical Studies program. He and his wife live in historic downtown Emmitsburg and homeschool their four children. He is active in local Boy Scouts and Knights of Columbus organizations, and is proud to support the mission and ministry of Emmaus Farm.
Charles E. Brown
Dr. Brown is the Senior Minister of the First Christian Church of Garrison in Lewis County. He was ordained into the Christian Ministry on April 14, 1985. He holds a Bachelor of Science from EKU, Bachelor of Sacred Literature, Master of Ministry from KCU, Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Southern Christian University. He is a Board member and Welfare Secretary of the Lewis County Salvation Army Unit, a Pastor with the Bikers for Christ, and a USAF Veteran. Edith and Charlie have 4 sons and 11 grandchildren. "We love Lewis County and count it a blessing to serve the Lord here."
George is the Director of the Lending A Helping Hand Food Pantry, located in Tollesboro, in Lewis County. George has a passion for faith and service. He is retired from the military.
Carol is a retired Lewis County school teacher and an active parishioner at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Vanceburg. Carol has been an active Catholic presence in Lewis County, where she raised her 5 children. Her late husband, Charley Campbell, was commissioned to create several art pieces in 2003 for the Farm property, including stained glass windows in the chapel.
Jeff is a resident hospital chaplain at the VA Medical Center in Lexington. He holds a BA in Philosophy from Conception Seminary College and is completing his thesis for an M.A. in Pastoral Theology from Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. Jeff has served in congregational and campus ministry capacities in Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky.
Colleen Ryan Mayrand
Colleen serves as the Community Service Director at Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia. She has a lasting connection to life in Lewis County after volunteering in Kentucky from 2010 to 2011. Colleen is passionate about lay ministry and social justice.
