Location & Directions

2925 Lower Kinney Rd. Vanceburg, KY 41179 - GPS will usually get you to our road, but not always to the right spot. Lower Kinney sometimes shows up as Kinniconick Rd. or CR 2524. It is 8 miles long. You will lose all cell service as you get closer to the Farm. If you need to stop and ask for directions, ask locals to help you get to the Catholic Farm near the basin hole or the old Glenmary Farm on Kinney.

From the East
Take I-64 West into Kentucky. Take Exit 172 toward Vanceburg and turn right off the exit ramp. In about half a mile, turn left at the gas station onto the Grayson Spur (KY 10/AA toward Vanceburg/Maysville). Stay on that about 25 miles, then turn left onto Lower Kinney Rd. The Farm is 3 miles down on the left. You'll go down a hill just after a small church called Armstrong on the right, and we're about 500 ft. down the hill. You'll see the green Emmaus Farm sign and the red staff house on stilts close to the road. Follow the driveway across the bridge, past all buildings, park in the parking area on the left past the Volunteer House, and prepare to be greeted by the Farm staff.

From the West
Take I-64 East through Kentucky toward West Virginia. Take Exit 156 to KY 59/KY 2. Follow signs to turn onto KY 59 and follow that about 15 miles. Turn right onto Lower Kinney from KY 59 at Globe Funeral Home—you'll see a clock sign on the right side of the road—and the Farm is 5 miles down on the right, about half mile after a sharp bend in the road. You'll see the Emmaus Farm sign and the red staff house on stilts close to the road. Follow the driveway across the bridge, past all buildings, park in the parking area on the left past the Volunteer House, and prepare to be greeted by the Farm staff.

From the Northwest
Use GPS to get past Cincinnati onto the AA Highway toward Vanceburg. Once you reach Vanceburg (under 80 miles on the AA), you'll pass a McDonalds, gas station, Dollar General, and bright yellow pizza place called Arty's on the left. Once you pass those, stay on the AA for 3 more miles. Turn right at the flashing yellow lights onto the Grayson Spur (signs for 1149/Grayson/I-64). Follow that for 2 miles then turn right onto Lower Kinney Rd. at the bottom of a hill. The Farm is 3 miles down Lower Kinney on the left. You'll go down a hill just after a small church called Armstrong on the right, and we're about 500 ft. down the hill. From the Northeast
Use GPS to get to Portsmouth, OH toward Vanceburg, KY. Once through Portsmouth, cross 1 of the 2 bridges across the Ohio River into KY. Turn right onto 8 and take that about 11 miles until it ends at the AA Highway. Turn right and take that about 8 miles until signs for 1149/Grayson/I-64.
